There have been a lot of interesting things happening lately when it comes to emulators. As many probably already know, Nintendo is often times really against emulators and is normally always filing out papers to get them shut down or is ready to sue the creators who made them. It is an ever-going thing that has never stopped. Nintendo has especially when cracking down on emulators that involve its latest console The Nintendo Switch. However, they don’t seem to want people playing their older games that can’t be purchase anymore on a emulator either, at least not until now.
What Is Delta Emulator?
Recently, Apple has changed their some of their terms and rules which now allows the use of eulmators on iPhones and other Apple devices. The Delta emulator was then one of the first ones to be released onto iPhones after this change allowing people to emulate DS, 3DS, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, and many other Nintendo console games onto their mobile device.
Now, it is uncertain if something might happen with this to where it gets taken down, but also, this is sort of like Apple allowing it which is a big deal considering how big the company is. This is a very tricky thing to go abut knowing or researching. For now, it doesn’t seem Nintendo is sending out any papers regarding the app, and even if they did, it nobody knows exactly how it would go since it involves Apple as well.
The Delta emulator, however, has brought many communities together though as people are designing skins for the device which has made some players revisit games from their childhood, remembering key details of the games in order to make these skins for Delta. For now, the app is avaliable on the App Store and doesn’t seem to see any near future situation of it being taken down.
