Pokemon Horizons had a difficult job when it debuted in Japan and, more recently, in the United States. It had to follow up the adventures of Ash Ketchum and Pikachu while also showcasing a new “feeling” of a Pokemon anime. After all, the stories of Liko and Roy aren’t about being “champions” or “Pokemon masters,” it’s something entirely different. However, as I noted in my review of the first batch of episodes, the series…is off to a rough start. Well, in my opinion, at least. It doesn’t help that with the Netflix model, we have to wait a while before the next batch arrives.
But that’s where the “surprise” comes in. Previously, we had to wait about three months to get new episodes. However, on Twitter, it was revealed that Pokemon Horizons would return on May 10th! So we’re less than a month away from its second batch of episodes! Alongside the announcement, they threw in a clip of one of the episodes, one where Liko has amnesia, and some “friends” of hers try to help her get it in a unique way:
Liko has lost her memory and gone missing! To search for her, Iono and Nidothing team up for a collab stream where they announce a special game of hide-and-seek!
