To say that Doctor Who fans have been a “patient bunch” would be an understatement. After the pretty unceremonious ending to Jodie Whittaker’s run (via a 5-part event series that many fans didn’t enjoy), fans had to wait quite a while for the 3-part 60th-anniversary series (and the Christmas special!) that helped launch the next series…which won’t debut until May. So, yeah, they’ve been patient. But now, BBC has dropped the official release date for the next season and another small teaser of what’s to come.
Doctor Who will return with a 2-part premiere on May 10th on BBC and Disney+, and then will be available the next day on BBC iPlayer and BBC One. So while we do have to wait another two months, the teaser below highlights that it should be worth it.
