Does Pal World Support Crossplay or Cross-Progression

By Faith LaneFebruary 18, 2024

Palworld has quickly become a very popular game, having beaten Fortnite for the most active daily players on Xbox. While some players might be against the game due to the extreme similarity it has to Pokemon, it is no lie that millions of people are excited to play the game and level up each day. The leveling-up process is one heavy part of the game when it comes to unlocking things like Pal Spheres, which are used to catch Pals.

With so many people logging on daily to play this indie title across platforms, some might wonder if they can play with their friends on another console. This guide will answer your question.

Is Palworld Cross Platform?

Palworld, at the time of writing, is available on platforms such as PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam for PC, and so far, over 7 million people have purchased a copy of the game. With that being said, friends and family might be wondering if they can play with their other relatives and friends across different consoles and devices. Unfortunately, it isn’t available as of yet, but crossplay will be coming to the game soon.

Right now, Palworld is still in early access, so it doesn’t have all the same features it will later on. The developers have already spoken out to express that the game will be getting the crossplay functionality as soon as possible, but no date has been posted as of yet.

With all that being said, it is a given that cross save is not a function the game supports yet either, meaning players who have the game on multiple consoles cannot and will not be able to save their progress onto another device but will instead have two different saves on each until the cross-platform functions are added in a later update.
