When it comes to gaming, patience for cool things is a virtue. If your patience for a new Tekken 8 collector’s item is wearing thin, there’s hope!
Kazuya and Jin will go toe-to-thigh in this upcoming diorama statue amongst helicopter and city debris. This is a direct reference to the opening act of the Tekken 8 story, where Jin decides to lay waste to Kazuya’s chariot while he’s still in it. Of course, Kazuya escapes with a landing, and the initial fight ensues on the ground.
To keep the theme of 8s and chains, only 888 of these numbered units are set to be released worldwide. Price-wise, this piece of history will set folks back $220 in the United States and 200 € in Europe. For first-time callers on the Namco Bandai site, there’s a 15% discount for their first purchase. The statue battle will be released this August 2024. And no, it won’t make it for Father’s Day.
If you want to pick up this statue for yourself, head to the Bandai Namco store.
The measurements for this statue are 10 x 10 x 8 inches or 25 x 25 x 20 cm. The highlight is definitely the fact that Tekken Project Director Katsuhiro Harada’s signature will be engraved on its’ base.
