Bandai Namco Esports revealed the trophy that will be handed out to the winner of this this year’s Dragonball FighterZ World Tour Finals. And it looks fantastic! The trophy has Super Saiyan Goku and Shenron with a pose similar to their appearance on the cover of the game. A fitting way to encompass the hero of the series and the creator of the series’ major plot device – the Dragonballs. Compared to previous years, it feels like it’s up there! Here’s a few shots from 2019 and 2020’s trophies.
DRAGON BALL FighterZ players battled it out across the globe.
After 7 Power Events & multiple Tenkaichi events, 11 were finally chosen.
Only one of them will be able to lift the unique and personalised World Champion trophy. We'll find out on 28 January. #DBFZWT2023 pic.twitter.com/YoYuWUpVtk

Arc System Works and Namco Bandai’s DragonBall FighterZ filled the 2D tag-team fighting game void left by the absence of Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. The game has frantic 3-on-3 battles with the iconic Akira Toriyama manga characters on the roster. Dream matchups thought of in its’ 3 or so decade history can be realized here. Piccolo, Cooler, and Android 17, for instance. All with intros, moves, and special moves, acting as several nods to the series’ major events, with an original story crafted with Toriyama himself.
The world tour finals will take place on January 28th, 2024, at the Dragon Ball Games Hour at the Los Angeles Convention Centre to end the 2023/2024 season.
