Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire Gets First Trailer

By Todd BlackDecember 3, 2023
Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire

While Warner Bros. Pictures “Monsterverse” took a while to form, it eventually led to the very fun 2021 film Godzilla vs. Kong. In it, we finally got the definitive answer of who would win: the King of the Monsters or the Protector of Skull Island. But now, the mighty beasts must put aside their differences to come together and face a new threat! A threat that comes from the new world that Kong calls home. And the world might not be ready for the next challenger when Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire arrives next year.

As you’ll see in the trailer below, the world thinks everything is safe now that the “balance of power” has been shifted properly. But within the underground world, Kong rules, yet new threats are emerging, and Kong can’t fight them alone; he’ll need help in the form of an enemy turned friend. Now he and Godzilla will need to power up to take them on, and fans will get a kick out of their transformations.

Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire arrives on April 12th.
