The Killer Instinct updates for the new Anniversary Edition and Free-To-Play edition are available, now. Microsoft and Iron Galaxy have released the final update for the 2013 remake of Killer Instinct. Several new features such as the new UI changes, to Character Select, and balance changes, have been added. And the changes are a hefty list of gameplay items to get characters on the same level.
Xbox Series X can run Anniversary Edition at 4k fidelity. Xbox Series S will be able to run the game at 1440p. Steam will also gain the Free-To-Play version, which rotates the 29-character roster availability weekly. Content can no longer be bought separately.
The balance patch is here in full at Eventhubs to cover all gameplay changes.
Furthermore, at the time of this writing, Iron Galaxy is live right now on Twitch with Killer Instinct, as a Community stream, starring @TheKeits, and FGC player, @ThePurpleSharpie.
