Fans who have been eagerly awaiting the release of Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will have to wait a little longer, as the developer has announced that the game’s release date has been pushed back to February 2, 2024. This marks the third time that the game’s release has been delayed, originally scheduled for 2022, then pushed back to May 26th, 2023, and now to 2024.

The news of the delay is hardly surprising, given the recent rumors surrounding the game’s development. Additionally, the reception to the most recent showing of the game during Sony’s State of Play event in February 2023 was underwhelming, which may have contributed to the decision to delay the game’s release. The fact that the game will require an “Always Online” connection has also raised some concerns among fans.
With this delay, it will be nine years since Rocksteady has released a video game ever since Arkham Knight was released in 2015. A game that has a checked past if you happened to have played it on the PC. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was officially announced during the DC Comics 2020 FanDome Event.
