Arkane has released a Redfall story trailer that drops a bit more information on the upcoming vampire-killing shooter for Xbox and PC. This trailer reveals the Vampire Gods, four nasties that are responsible for the plaque that is causing the trouble in Redfall, Massachusetts, and created by the shady company called Aevum . As the trailer puts it, “Gods created by science,” and ultimately, are the ones that the players will need to vanquish to save that town.
It will be interesting to see how Arkane brings over its knack for telling amazing stories over to Redfall, as this is a multiplayer title, that supports crossplay between the Xbox and PC. However, as we recently learned, the game also requires an always-on internet connection. Redfall was announced during the Xbox and Bethesda E3 2021 showcase on June 13, 2021.
Redfall is slated to be released on May 2, 2023, for the Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam/Windows Store).
