With the upcoming first-person shooter video game, Redfall, developed by Arkane Studios Austin, releasing in a few months, the developer has confirmed that crossplay is in and works across the Xbox and PC platforms.
As part of a Q&A that was held in February 2023, it was confirmed that the Xbox version of the game would be able to play with the Steam, Epic Game Store, and PC Game Pass versions, and vice versa, which means that anyone who picks up this game, regardless of the platform.
So, if you were planning on holding off because your friends didn’t have an Xbox or PC, now all the bases are covered.

Redfall is a mash-up of Left 4 Dead / Back 4 Blood but gives players access to abilities similar to Deathloop. It allows up to four players to battle against vampires and other creatures attempting to take over the town of Redfall.
Redfall releases on Xbox May 2, 2023, for the Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam, PC, Epic Game Store).
