Nvidia Claims That Over 250 PC Games Have Incorporated DLSS

Today during Nvidia’s GeForce Beyond CES 2023 event, the company made some lofty claims regarding its DLSS technology. Ever since Nvidia’s DLSS or Deep Learning Super Sampling was released, it’s been a major boon for gaming.

Now, Nvidia has revealed that over 250 games incorporate the technology, while 50 additional DLSS 3 games have been released or soon-to-be-released. Several of these games include Portal RTX, Witchfire, The Day Before, Atomic Heart, Spider-Man: Remastered, and Miles Morales, to name a couple.

DLSS 2 allows anyone with an RTX 3000 GPU to enjoy higher frame rates with a slight dip in visual quality (not that you’d be hard-pressed to see the difference), DLSS 3 approves on that by using the power of AI. DLSS 3-enabled titles enjoy bumped-up frame rates, and in some cases, nearly doubled compared to DLSS 2.

Of course, the downside to DLSS 3 is that you’ll need an RTX 4000 series GPU, such as the RTX 4090, RTX 4080, or the recently announced RTX 4070 Ti, which will be the cheaper of the three, at an MSRP of $799. Each of these GPUs features 4th generation Tensor Cores, and is the only way to gain acess to DLSS 3.

Below are several games that will be released with DLSS 3 enabled.

The Nvidia RTX 4090 is priced at $1600 and above, while the RTX 4080 can be found at $1200. With the RTX 4070 Ti being priced at $799 and will be released on January 5th, 2023.
