While the end of the year signifies new beginnings for many, for those of the tech persuasion marks the beginning of tech nirvana with the Consumer Electronics Show, or CES 2023. Speaking of which, Nvidia has already announced its GeForce Beyond show that will take place on January 3rd, 2023, at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET, on YouTube. which actually takes place before CES 2023 — that show doesn’t really start until January 5th, 2023.
Tune in January 3rd at 8AM PT for GeForce Beyond at CES 2023.

As for what we can expect, well, there are several things. Nvidia will more than likely reveal its RTX 4070 Ti, GPU that was previously known as the RTX 4080 12 GB. Back in October 2022, Nvidia canceled the GPU due to it “Not being named right.” It’s mostly confirmed that we’ll see this, so try to act surprised.
I’m also hoping we’ll officially see a price drop for the RTX 4080 GPU. That GPU is not in a good place, being ever so slightly less expensive than the RTX 4090 while not being as powerful. A price drop would help that GPU sell better than it is right now. C’mon, Nvidia, do the right thing!
As for the rumor of the RTX RTX 4090 Ti currently being spread around, I think that’s a bit much and way too soon. Not to mention that the world is still in the middle of the silicone shortage. I doubt we’ll see that — and we don’t need it either.
The Astronauts’ upcoming title, Witchfire, will make an appearance during the show. This title has been in development for quite some time, and I’ve been eager to get whatever news we can regarding the title. The last time the developer spoke about the game, they mentioned it would be going to early access on the Epic Game Store. Perhaps we’ll hear more about this at the GeForce Beyond event.
In four days… Something #Witchfire happens. https://t.co/Bl6flQfzev

Speaking of games, we’ll also likely get several new games that will incorporate Nvidia’s DLSS 3, which is only available on its RTX 4000 series GPUs. I haven’t tested this out as of yet, but the word is that it isn’t as impressive as Nvidia made it out to be. I’m sure the company will be doubling down on this and will have more to show regarding its newest Deep Learning Super Sampling tech.
I’m sure Nvidia will have a few more surprises, so be sure to catch the show BEFORE CES 2023 begins.
