After being available in Japan for years and then finally making its way to the West but only as an Xbox exclusive, it would seem that Phantasy Star Online 2 is finally headed to the PlayStation 4. Yep, it’s finally happening. According to a recent Twitter post over on the official Phantasy Star Online 2 account. The game will be available as of August 31st, 2022.
While I’d say this has been two years too late, it’s good to see that one of the better MMOs is finally making its way to the PlayStation 4, and the PlayStation 5. There hasn’t been any mention if you can also play the base game of Phantasy Star Online 2, or if there will be any sort of cross-play as of yet.
"PS4 when?" 🐤
