Two very important details regarding Street Fighter 6 have been revealed ahead of Capcom’s Showcase, thanks to the Street Fighter 6 hands-on.
The first is that Street Fighter 6 will utilize rollback netcode, so all you fighting game fans can relax. Tamooor Hussain from Gamespot revealed this bit of news on Twitter. The last title from Capcom to include rollback netcode was Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite. Despite the games’ spotty reception, no one can delay that the online play was remarkable. So, we should see a similar for Street Fighter 6.
I know this has been a question that’s been asked a number of times, and likely, Capcom would reveal this during the Capcom showcase next week. But thankfully, at least we know that’s now the case.
Street Fighter 6 uses rollback net code. Lots of people are asking.

The second is that Street Fighter 6 will include crossplay. This sounds like it would have been a no-brainer, given that Street Fighter included crossplay between the PlayStation consoles and PC. With the Xbox being included in the follow-up, crossplay is more crucial than ever. This bit of information was confirmed by Maximillian Dood, who is enjoying his time with the game.
Confirmed from the devs directly. Street Fighter VI will have cross play.

Both are solid and great pieces of information regarding the game.
Don’t forget that Capcom will also host its Capcom Showcase. We’ll hear and see more regarding Street Fighter 6, including Resident Evil 4 Remake, and more. The Capcom Showcase will be streamed on June 13th, 2022, at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET, on Twitch and YouTube.
