If you’re a Warhammer gamer, then you know what today is – Warhammer Skulls. Like last year, Game Workshop, the owners of the Warhammer license, have revealed several Warhammer-themed games alongside many developers and publishers. It’s basically E3 for Warhammer fans, or even better since it happened.
Below, you’ll find all the reveals for games that have been revealed, new expansions, as well as release dates for games that initially didn’t have any.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 – New Behind-the-Scenes Video
The follow-up to the decades-old Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine game from THQ and a title I’ve been waiting on for quite some time. And while we didn’t get any new gameplay for the title, we were treated to a “behind the scenes” look at the game, as well as hearing from a number of people who are hard at work on the game.
Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge Revealed
From the creators of Horus Heresy: Legions, Everguild, comes Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge, a Warhammer-themed digital card game. This is set to be released for PC and mobile sometime in 2023, bringing together all the major factions of the universe as digital cards to collect and do battle with.
CRPG Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader Announced
Owlcat is proud to announce the first classic cRPG in the Warhammer 40,000 Universe! Take the mantle of a Rogue Trader and explore the vast and dangerous Koronus Expanse with a crew of your loyal companions. Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader – the first classic roleplaying game with turn-based combat in the legendary grim darkness of the far future of Warhammer 40,000, produced in close collaboration with Games Workshop to be released on PC and consoles.
Currently, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader has no release date.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun Revealed
Ah, yes, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, a return to when FPS titles were simple – kill everything in sight. A single-player FPS delivers a hardcore, sprite-based experience in the boots of the ultimate war machine: a Space Marine. Revealed today by Auroch Digital and Focus Entertainment, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun is in development for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and will be released in 2023.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Cinematic Trailer Shown
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, a co-op title has been in development for months. And while we haven’t been shown any new gameplay yet just, a new cinematic trailer has been revealed. Darktide is being built using the Vermintide 2 game engine, will allow players to create their own characters, and will feature some spectacular melee and ranged combat – we just haven’t seen any gameplay, yet.
We won’t have to wait much longer for some gameplay, as the Fatshark has mentioned we’ll see Warhammer 40,000: Darktide during the Summer Game Fest, on June 9th, 2022. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has a release date of September 13, 2022, for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 – Be’lakor Chaos Wastes Expansion Revealed
Be’lakor Chaos Wastes is a new expansion for Warhammer: Vermintide 2, that will be released on June 14, 2022, for all platforms. This update will be free and will add new locations, weapon traits, boons, and more.
Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef Gets A Release Date
A new gameplay trailer for 2D shooter Warhammer 40k: Shootas, Blood & Teef was shown off, with a release date finally being provided. Warhammer 40k: Shootas, Blood & Teef will be released for all platforms and the PC, on October 20, 2022.
