Triangle Strategy is the latest of a long line of RPGs from Team Asano of Square Enix. The Nintendo Switch has been very much blessed by many of those titles, including Octopath Traveler and Bravely Default 2. Each game is its own thing, and has different mechanics and styles that define it. And so the real question would be, how would this newest game sell?
Well, we’re now two weeks into its release and we have an answer for you. The official Japanese Twitter handle for the game posted an illustration from Naoki Ikushima, stating that the game is doing well in Japan and Asia, and overall is at about 800,000 units. There is some data that might even push that number forward as Nintendo doesn’t give out digital game data at times. Either way though, the game is well on its way to a million units like Octopath Traveler and Bravely Default 2.
