There are many different ways to farm runes in Elden Ring, and more are demonstrated each day. So, today I’ve decided to show off one of my favorite rune farming methods in Elden Ring. This one is late-game and depends on how fast you can get to Miquella’s Haligtree. But once you make it here, you can farm 200,000 runes in about 5-6 minutes, depending on your gear. Unlike other methods, I don’t see this being nerfed as just about any build can plow through this and doesn’t require an end-game boss weapon.
To maximize your rune collecting, you’ll want to have the Gold Scarab and have some Gold Pickled Fowl Foot, which can be found, sold, and created. I find that creating them is the best way to stock up on them. In this video, I’m using the Moonveil Kitana, but prior to this, I was farming the route with a pure INT build and it was actually faster. Either way, it’s up to you — as long as you can dish out damage quickly, you’ll benefit.
Now, you’re probably saying that this is late game, and I can farm more runes early on. And maybe that’s true. However, this method gains you more runes in a quicker time. At five minutes and seventeen seconds, I managed to farm 200,000 runes. Think about that for a moment. Doing this for 30 minutes nets you one million runs, while an hour gets you two million runes. Not to mention you will also amass items that can be sold for a profit. I like using this method as I’ve been farming to get my character ready for my new game Elden Ring playthrough.
