While “The Book of Boba Fett” has been wrapped up, Disney was keen to point out that it has another series on the way — “Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi.” The upcoming limited series will debut on Disney Plus, this May 25th, 2022.
That’s right, we’re finally to see just what Obi-Wan was up to the last 10 years after “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith”. After watching his master, Qui-Gon Jinn, fall at the hands of Darth Maul, and then later the betrayal of his closet friend, Anakin Skywalker. No doubt, Kenobi had to do some soul searching.

This series will mark the return of Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, as well as Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader. Joining them will be Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.
Though part of me feels that Disney dropped the ball by not having the show start on May 4th, seeing how that this is “May The 4th Be With You” day. Oh well, we at least we got something new to look forward to seeing “The Book of Boba Fett” is over and done with — for now, anyway.
