While the recent beta of Neople and Nexon’s upcoming 2D fighting game DNF Duel, was rough, we had a chance to get in a few matches here in there.
In this video, we tested our luck using the vanguard against the ranger class. Which isn’t a favorable match-up for the vanguard. Despite its long-reaching pokes, the ranger can zone due to several fast-firing attacks, timed grenades, and speed. With these abilities, it’s quite easy for a ranger to keep someone locked down and making it nigh impossible to get in close. Still, I think we did a decent job at putting up a fight and managed to come away with a few wins.
As for the DNF Duel, even in its early form, the game is shaping up to be an enjoyable fighter. The beta was definitely rough as evident by the online constantly dropped and even an infinite that can not be escaped. We’re definitely looking forward to playing more of DNF Duel in the future.
DNF Duel is based on Dungeon Fighter Online and is scheduled to be released in Summer 2022 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It is currently in development by Neople, Arc System Works, and Eighting.
