Recently, a new teaser trailer for ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ was dropped onto YouTube. While this new trailer doesn’t provide footage from the upcoming action flick, it provides us with a release date for the film. Sadly, if you were looking forward to seeing John Wick 4 in 2022, that hope has been dashed, and the film has been knocked back into 2023 — March 24, 2023, to be exact.
When we last saw John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves in ‘John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum’, he was betrayed after risking his own life to do what was right and trusting in a friend. Left for dead (not the game), John Wick looks to be teaming up with the Bowery King, played by Laurence Fishburne. One can only what sort of chaos those two will bring to the High Table, some old friends and whoever else is foolish enough to stand against John Wick.
Originally scheduled to be released on May 21, 2021, the film had been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After which, the movie was rescheduled to be released on May 27, 2022, but once again, COVID-19 had other plans.
While the release date is so far away, it does give everyone a chance to revisit the entire John Wick movie series. Not only is each movie a fantastic watch, but I feel that they get better with age. Don’t just stop with the movie either, as the John Wick game, John Wick Hex is also worth checking out.
Look for John Wick: Chapter 4 in 2023!
