The wait is almost over! The 4K Ultra HD version of Makoto Shinkai’s Weathering With You (Tenki no Ko) is coming to North America on January 4, 2022! GKIDS and Shout! Factory announced the release date on Monday, November 1.
The 4K UHD is a double-disc set that includes both the 4K and standard Blu-ray versions of the movie along with some bonus features such as:

Until this release, the Collector’s Edition was the only way to obtain a 4K version of the movie in North America. This serves as a more affordable option for those who want the highest-quality version of the movie.
