I’m sure the wait for Elden Ring is killing you; Bandai Namco has a solution for that. The company has just announced that they’ll host an Elden Ring beta that will run through November 12th – 14th, 2021.
To partake in this beta, you’ll have to sign up at this link (http://www.eldenring.com/CNT) before November 1, 2021. The ELDEN RING Closed Network Test will be playable throughout the weekend of November 12-14 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S during the following time blocks:
- November 12: 3:00 A.M. to 6:00 A.M. PST
- November 12: 7:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. PST
- November 13: 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. PST
- November 14: 3:00 A.M. to 6:00 A.M. PST
- November 14: 7:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. PST
You may have noticed that the PC isn’t listed for the beta. Like the Dark Souls remastered closed network test, the PC is left out for fear of anything being datamined.
Along with the announcement is yet another short clip, with the footage we’ve already seen before. Sadly, the trailer is age-restricted for some reason.
[videopress gsqrH0mq]Along with the closed network test announcement comes some disappointing news of Elden Ring being delayed one month, to February 25th, 2022. Bandai Namco has yet to cite why Elden Ring was postponed.
Important message:
ELDEN RING will release on Feb 25, 2022, as the depth & strategic freedom of the game exceeded initial expectations. Thank you for your trust & patience. We look forward to seeing you experience the game in the Closed Network Test in Nov.

Elden Ring is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment for those who haven’t been following Elden Ring. The game is a collaborative effort between game director Hidetaka Miyazaki and fantasy novelist George R. R. Martin. While the game may look similar to the Dark Souls games, with many calling it Dark Souls 4, there’s more to it. The gameplay has seen some changes, such as riding a mount, dungeons that can be found while progressing through the game storyline and is less linear than the Dark Souls games. The game also has a significant emphasis on customization and exploration, unlike previous games from Fromsoftware.
Elden Ring will be available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, on February 25th, 2022.
