Netflix has not been shy about doing adaptations of atypical comics and graphic novels. Even without the Marvel series at their beck and call, they brought The Umbrella Academy to life in a big way, Sandman is coming, and then, there’s Locke & Key. The show may not have gone as far as the IDW comics did (see: the comics are WAY darker and mature in terms of content), but it did showcase the unique world that the books created. And now, Locke & Key Season 2 has debuted a full trailer to showcase just where this world is going to go.
With the Locke children thinking that Dodge is gone, they feel a sense of ease, but things are only going to get worse as they realize that they know much less than they think. We also see Dodge and their new ally starting to make keys that likely will make things much worse for the world. As well as teases of the history of the “door” we saw throughout season 1, the plight of the mother who is just trying to understand it all, and more.
