    Platinum End Comes to Funimation

    Funimation announced today that Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata’s Platinum End anime is coming to their streaming service as part of their Fall 2011 lineup. 

    Funimation describes the series as follows:

    From the creators of Death Note, Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, Platinum End follows Mirai Kakehashi who, after an attempted suicide, gains the guardianship of an Angel, along with the power to duke it out to become the next God—along with 11 others!

    The anime is set to begin airing on October 8 and will contain 24 episodes.
