While it was leaked some time ago that Monster Hunter Rise would make its way to the PC, we just didn’t know when. That all changes today as Capcom released several spicy details about the PC release. Monster Hunter Rise will be released on PC on January 12, 2022. This does not include the upcoming expansion, Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak, which will be released later during Summer 2022 for Switch and PC.
Let’s start with what the PC version of Monster Hunter Rise will feature, and it’s all the stuff PC gamers want. Check out the list below;
- 4K support
- High-res texture support
- Framerate optimized
- Keyboard mouse support
- Voice chat
- Ultrawide support
That’s a boatload of features, but that’s not all. Capcom has announced that the game will go up for pre-order later today, and there will be a demo that will be released on October 13, 2021. They didn’t mention what would be included in the demo but I’m assuming it will be identical to the Switch version of the game.
When the PC version of Monster Hunter Rise is released, it will include ALL of the available content for the Switch. This is huge news. Fans of the series will remember that when Monster Hunter was released on the PC, it was constantly behind on both content and events, compared to the Xbox and PlayStation versions.
The Steam page is already up if you’d like to pre-order the game. There’s no word on cross-save, and chances are this won’t make it into this game.
So there you have it. More Monster Hunter Rise news for the PC! Are you excited? I sure am!
