We’re getting hands-on with Tales of Arise, sooner than we expected.
Earlier today, Bandai Namco announced that a demo of its upcoming RPG, Tales of Arise, will be playable on August 18th, 2021. This demo will be made available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Sadly, the PC crowd has been left out in the cold. More than likely, due to Bandai Namco not wanting anyone to datamine the demo and spoiling the game for everyone.
The adventure of a lifetime starts in just ✨ one month ✨

Tales of Arise was revealed during the 2019 Xbox E3 showcase and was originally scheduled to be released in 2020. However, thanks to that damned virus, the release date was pushed back into 2021, with no release date mentioned. Since then, it was revealed that Tales of Arise will be released on September 10th, 2021.
On June 11th, 2021, a new trailer for the title was released during the Summer Game Fest. This video game us a look at some new gameplay, and I have to say that the game definitely looked a lot better since we saw it prior.
That wasn’t the last time we saw the game, as another video was released, this time the animated opening trailer.
Tales of Arise is the next chapter and 17th game in the Tales series, not counting the spin-offs.
For 300 years, Rena has ruled over Dahna, pillaging the planet of its resources and stripping people of their dignity and freedom. Our tale begins with two people, Alphen and Shionne, born on different worlds, each looking to change their fate and create a new future. Featuring a diverse cast of characters, an intuitive and rewarding combat system, and a captivating story set in a lush world worth fighting for, Tales of Arise delivers a first-class JRPG experience.
Tales of Arise also is a departure from the prior games, as the game utilizes the Unreal Engine 4 and has ditched the game engine that all of the prior games had used. Mainly due to Unreal Engine offering more freedom, this was a smart move.
Tales of Arise will be released on September 10, 2021, for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
