Mario Golf Super Rush has proved to be a massive hit for Nintendo this summer and they have wasted no time at all when it comes to bringing players an update later today. The free update will see fan-favorite character Toadette joining the crew on the green as well as the inclusion of ranked matches for players who want to raise the stakes and a new course based on New Donk City from Super Mario Odyssey.
In addition to these add-ons, the game’s motion controls are also receiving a few tweaks. The “improved motion controls” will seemingly make the act of swinging your club a bit easier if the description on the Japanese site is any indication.

Nintendo has promised that more updates and add-ons are on the way for Mario Golf Super Rush. If the speed at which they shot this one out is any indication, it likely won’t be long until we see more characters and courses added in over time.
