    ‘Star Trek Lower Decks’ season two releases sooner than expected

    ‘Star Trek Lower Decks’ was easily one of my favorite shows of 2020 and I was saddened when the season ended. I had fallen in love with those goofy characters, I mean, how could you not. Thankfully, the second season was another shortly afterward and now, we have the release date which happens to be next month.

    According to a tweet from the official Star Trek Twitter account, Star Trek Lower Deck will premiere this August 11th, 2021, on Paramount+. The second season will bring the original cast back, despite Boimler being promoted to another ship. I wonder what he does to get tossed back to the U.S.S. Cerritos.

    Check out the trailer for the second season below, and see if you can find all the references to previous Star Trek shows in it. I’ve found a few myself, without cheating.
