Leave it to Japan to make an announcement for an announcement. On July 13 at 7 PM Japan time (6 AM Eastern), there will be an announcement on the second television anime season for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
The second season is slated to see the gang travel to Tokyo’s infamous Yoshiwara district to help out the Sound Hashira on his mission.
Barring some weird Attack on Titan-style scheduling, the fact that they re-confirmed that the series will air in 2021, the process of elimination would deduce that it is coming this October… since there’s only one anime season left in 2021 and that’s when it starts.
Aniplex via Twitter posted an English subtitled trailer for the second season which you can check out below:

I just want to give the season a pre-congratulations for becoming Anime of the Year, Anime of the Decade, Anime of the Century, Anime of the Millennium, for becoming the highest-watched TV anime in history, and for home media releases outselling any other anime, tv show, movie, or home media in the history of mankind.
I mean, it’s inevitable, right?
