Lucasfilm announced at Anime Expo Lite that Star Wars: Visions will launch on the Disney+ streaming service on September 22! That’s right, we’re getting a Star Wars anime — who would have ever thought this would happen?
In addition, they announced all of the studios that will be involved in the project. Those studios are as follows:
- Trigger
- Geno Studio
- Kamikaze Douga
- Twin Engine
- Studio Colorido
- Kinema Citrus
- Science SARU
- Production I.G.
Different studios will be handling different episodes of the series as they “all have a story to tell.” These are their visions through the lens of Star Wars. This project was created to bring each individual studio’s vision to life.
