What’s better than mowing down scores of zombies in a third-person mode game? Well, being able to do so in a first-person perspective mode. According to the official World War Z Twitter account, gamers will be able to do this once the World War Z: Aftermath expansion is released.
That said, I do have a few questions that need to be answered. Such as can we aim down the sights, or if can we lean to the sides using this first-person mode. Otherwise, there’s little reason to use this first-person mode. In the video attached to this tweet, we don’t see any of that, and that’s troublesome. If this mode only changes the on-screen image and aims down the sights isn’t a thing; I’m not sure this mode will be worth it. But we’ll have to wait and see how it turns out.

World War Z: Aftermath is an upcoming expansion that adds several new features to the existing game. A new melee combat system was sorely needed in the first game, new story episodes, and enhanced visuals for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This expansion also adds crossplay for both console and PC players — finally!
We still don’t have a release date for when World War Z: Aftermath will be released, but I’m definitely looking forward to playing the updated version. What about you?
