NEO The World Ends With You is officially only a month away from release on Nintendo Switch and PS4. But before you go and get ready to enjoy the game, there are some things you might want to know. First off, a demo for the game has released (read our impressions on it here!) for both systems and thus is something you should check out. And second, the team has been hyping up the game by revealing certain things like how long the title actually is.
Director Hiroyuki Ito and series director Tatsuya Kando recently spoke with 4Gamer: and said this:
Ito: There’s a lot more to do in this game, especially compared to the original game. I think reaching the ending alone will take around 50 hours.
Kando: If you’re the type of player to do everything a game has to offer, expect your hour count to reach the triple digits. There’s a lot to collect in the game, everything from character profiles to pins, with some challenging fights thrown in as well. Clearing certain milestones in the game allow players to receive graffitied stickers, which you can decorate the backstreets of Udagawa with.
So clearly this game is trying to show off just how big this world can be, and that means you’ll be doing your “7 Days” journey for quite a while. NEO The World Ends With You arrives on July 27th.
