Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope Leaded Ahead of Ubisoft E3 Conference

Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope

So, how’s this for a twist of fate? If you recall, back in 2017, a leak came out showcasing Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle and EVERYONE thought it was fake because of “how random” it was and some of the things they showed (Mario with a  blaster gun). But, it was real, and at that E3 they showcased it and people fell in love with it. It became one of the best-selling 3rd party titles on the Switch and people wanted a sequel. Well, four years later, another leak has come, and it has unveiled Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope.

The irony of this one? It was Nintendo who accidentally leaked it! They put up a store page for Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope (the Ubisoft press conference for E3 2021 is today for the record) and listed not just some art (see above) but details on what the game would be like.

“Team up with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi, and their friends on a galactic journey to defeat a malevolent entity and save your Spark companions,” Nintendo’s own description of its Mario + Rabbids game said. “Explore planets throughout the galaxy as you uncover mysterious secrets and compelling quests!”

But wait, there’s more:

  • Build your dream team with three heroes from an eclectic roster of nine.
  • Takedown all-new bosses, along with some familiar enemies throughout the galaxy.
  • Rescue the adorable Sparks throughout the galaxy, who provide distinct powers that will help you in battle.
  • Unleash your heroes’ skills but be strategic as you dash your enemies, team jump on your allies, and hide behind covers.

As you can tell, they’re going very heavy with the “Mario Galaxy” fusion this time with the “sparks” that are clearly fusions of Rabbids and Lumas, a Rosalina Rabbid (which means the main lady is going to be around…) and more.

No doubt we’ll be hearing more about the game today so be sure to be on the lookout for it! And for our Nintendo E3 predictions, be sure to check out the latest episode of the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast!
