Techland shocked the world with a new look at Dying Light 2, a game we haven’t seen since E3 2019, and a release date. While the title has been delayed for quite some time, we’ll finally be able to play it on December 7th, 2021.
Slated for a release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, as originally planned, the Dying Light 2 will also see a release on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. In Dying Light 2, players will assume the role of Aiden Caldwell, an infected survivor and as we’ve seen from the prior gameplay back in 2019, an extremely powerful and agile individual. Everything Aiden does in-game will influence the story and what’s to come next; I love when developers give us a choice and seeing how that impacts the game.
Aiden isn’t the only thing that’s powerful, as there’s plenty of zombies, quite a few of them with some unique abilities. This ensures that there’s plenty of action, and players will be constantly looking over their shoulders.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Dying Light 2, but it’s nice to see that Techland hasn’t skipped a beat. I’ll be adding Dying Light 2 onto my “must-play” games of 2021. That is if the game doesn’t get delayed again.
Dying Light 2 – Stay Human releases on December 7th, 2021, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Are you looking forward to checking out the game? Let us know in the comments!
