Perfect World Entertainment and Gunfire Games have announced that Remnant: From The Ashes will be getting a next-generation update next week.
According to the official website and Twitter post, this upgrade will allow players to choose from either playing at 1080p@60 frames per second or 4K@30 frames per second on both the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X. The Xbox Series S will only support 1080p@60 frames per second. That’s not all, as the PC version of the game is making its way to the Xbox Game Pass for PC and will feature cross-play support with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions.

If you’ve been here for a while, you’d know that Remnant: From The Ashes is one of my favorite action RPGs of all time. It has the right touch of engaging gunplay, an enjoyable story, and is one of the more successful titles that managed to separate away from the immensely popular Soulsborne series. Now that it’s getting both a next-gen upgrade and will be able for Xbox Game Pass for PC, I highly recommend you giving it a try. That is if you enjoy fun games that this.
Speaking of which, be sure to check out our review of Remnant: From The Ashes, as well as the Swamps of Corsus and Subject 2932 DLCs.
Remnant From The Ashes is currently available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
