Nippon Ichi Software today revealed three new classes for Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny.
The classes are Evil Eye, Pincer Shell, Mecha Girl, and Psychic. They also confirmed is that the Hololive DLC will be free on release.
In the trailer we see the different special attacks of each different character class. Each of them retains that zany and over the top style that the series is known for. Evil Eye being a Minotaur with a chunni tendency. Pincer Shell being literal Crab people that will use its incisors. Mecha Girl that will utilize magic in her attacks. And Psychic that will use her psychokinesis while donning a flashy costume and hat. The trailer quips that there is no common trait between the classes. It is just for your preference on who you want to recruit.
But the most interesting note is that the previously Japan only DLC of Hololive characters, will instead now be available worldwide.
For those who aren’t in the know, Hololive is Vtuber Group own by entertainment company Cover Corp. They are an idol group that interacts with the public be it Twitter, Let’s Plays on Youtube or other media interactions while using 2D or 3D avatars. We reported about Vshojo as they are one of the major western Vtuber agencies since Hololive’s inception.
The DLC will involve five Hololives members. Tsunomaki Watame, who will voice a Evil Eye class due to the sheep avatar. Uruha Rushia, who will voice a Succubus. Though this is humorous as she is originally not well-endowed and is a running gag with her fans. Shirakami Fubuki, who will voice a Prinny dood. Shiranui Flare will voice a Psychic class. Lastly, Omaru Polka will voice a female mage.
This will surely be a pleasure if you are a fan of these Vtubers.
Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny is set for June 29 for Nintendo Switch.
