After requiring a Ph.D. or four years of equivalent experience to understand the very confusing schedule for the Resident Evil Village demos, Capcom has decided to extend the game’s final demo to a week instead of the original 24-hour window.
The game’s Extended Final Demo will go live on all platforms on May 1st/May 2nd and will extend to May 9th/May 10th depending on your region.
Capcom’s approach to the Resident Evil Village demos has been kind of a hot mess. Many players were left frustrated and straight-up confused as to exactly when and where the demos would be available. It seems that did listen to some of that feedback and decided to switch that policy for the final upcoming demo. Here’s hoping that they drop this approach for future releases because this was a pain to try and wrangle.
Resident Evil Village is set to be released on May 7th and will likely be one of the year’s biggest releases. It should also be noted that the game’s Extended Final Demo will still be available after the full releases.
