Update: The official trailer for DOOM Eternal Ancient Gods Part 2 Teaser Trailer has been released and it’s the same trailer like the one that was leaked. So there’s nothing new for you to see if you’ve already seen it leaked. Short and sweet, just as a teaser should be. As for when we’ll get the longer trailer, we’ll get that this upcoming Wednesday.
Original story below.
Some way, somehow, trailers keep getting leaked. The latest victim is the teaser trailer for the upcoming DOOM Eternal Ancient Gods Part 2 teaser trailer, scheduled to be released on March 15th, 2021, which happens to be tomorrow.
Now, I’m not going to go on another rant on why I am not a fan of trailers getting thier own teasers. Yet, at the same time, you have to wonder how exactly this keeps happening. In this instance, it seems that the trailer was “accidentally” placed on the Bethesda YouTube channel. While this specific video was listed as an unlisted video, meaning it wasn’t private, but you couldn’t see the video unless you know the link. It was also listed in a playlist, which allowed it to be seen. In other words, someone was careless.
The video has been made private, but not before the internet could make a copy of it. You can see the teaser trailer below if you so choose to. As for when we’ll see the full trailer, it wasn’t mentioned in the teaser. But I’d imagine what we see now may be quite different than what we’ll see tomorrow. What we do see, however, is a look at the leaked weapon; the Sentinel Hammer.
We don’t know when DOOM Eternal Ancient Gods Part 2 will be released, but it will be this year. Based on what Bethesda stated about this previously, both parts 1 and 2 of Ancient Gods would be released within a release of DOOM Eternal being released – which was March 20, 2020, and DOOM Eternal Ancient Gods Part 1 was released on October 20, 2020. Given that, we’d likely see DOOM Eternal Ancient Gods Part 2 being released this week.
DOOM Eternal and DOOM Eternal Ancient Gods Part 1 are currently available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Stadia, and PC.
