Yesterday, the official Outriders Twitter account announced that it would show several legendary armors from the upcoming looter shooter title, Outriders, all week. Today, we got our first look at one, the Reforged, a legendary armor set for the pyromancer class.
It sort of looks like it was pulled out of some molten lava, which I imagine was the goal. But it’s not just a looker as the armor provides a set bonus when 3 of the 5 pieces of armor are worn. This specific bonus will increase Feed the Flames damage and Thermal Bomb damage by %50.

The Twitter account was also kind enough to provide four armor images. Sadly, we don’t get to see the 5th piece because Twitter only allows four image uploads.

As this is a five-piece set, I wonder what the missing piece is. Though if I had to speculate, it would hands/gloves. We’ve already seen the head, chest, legs, and feet, so it only makes sense.
We’ll find out on February 25th, 2021, as that’s when the open beta for Outriders will start. We’re not sure when it will end, but we know that the demo will be beefy and that all of our progress in the demo will transfer to the full game. I’m looking forward to checking out the game as we missed out on the preview sessions and playing with the rest of the community.
Outriders will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on April 1st, 2021. And no, that isn’t an Aprils Fools joke either.
