Earlier today, IO Interactive revealed all the locations our favorite assassin, Agent 47, will visit during his working hours.
There are six locations in the game, and while that may not seem like a lot. If you’ve ever played a Hitman game, you’ll know that the locations are not only large but contain lots of ways to complete a mission.
Here’s a list of all six locations;
- Dubai, UAE
- Dartmoor, United Kingdom
- Berlin, Germany
- Chongqing, China
- Mendoza, Argentina
- Carpathian Mountains, Romania
Those are some interesting locations, especially Chongqing, China. While I’ve never been, I’ve seen locations of photos and videos of the city, and it’s beautiful. Here’s to hoping HITMAN 3 can do the city justice, and if it does, I’ll be doing more than just assassinating my targets.
And if you’re going to be playing the PlayStation 4/5 version, you’ll also be able to play the game in VR. Sadly, only the PlayStation version will include VR support, and if you ask me, that’s a missed opportunity. This is exactly what happened with Resident Evil 7, which looks to remain a VR exclusive on the PlayStation platform.
Things are looking up for the HITMAN series, and judging from the positive previews (we didn’t get a chance to participate), this looks to be the best game in the series. It also doesn’t hurt that the 3rd chapter won’t be an episodic release, unlike the first game. It will also be the first game to take advantage of the newest console hardware. I’m looking forward to that.
HITMAN 3 will be available for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC. HITMAN 3 is also heading to the Nintendo Switch and will be playable via cloud game streaming. There’s currently no word as to which technology will be powering the Switch’s version.
