It was announced that Makoto Shinkai’s Tenki no Ko (Weathering With You) movie will receive a one-time-only special ending when it premieres on Japanese network television. The extra ending runs about one minute long and will only air on the Sunday night of its premiere. Fans will have to be patient as this extra minute will only show up after the ending credits!
It has been said that the message of the ending will convey the wish to overcome the hardships inside you which is represented and symbolized by harsh weather.
The film is set to broadcast on TV Asahi.
