Earlier today, Netflix sent out a tweet that stated that a 3D animated Sonic the Hedgehog series would be coming to its streaming platform in 2022. Since then, the tweet has been deleted for an unknown reason.
Before the tweet was removed, we learned that the series would be produced in conjunction with WildBrain and Man of Action… both of which have previously worked on titles such as Ben 10 and Mega Man Fully Charged.
We’ll have to wait and see if the tweet resurfaces or if there is some other announcement but it was quite apparent that someone over at Netflix was a bit jumpy behind the post button.
