This is what you call…a paradigm shift. Those were the words that Jon Moxley (formerly WWE’s Dean Ambrose) spoke when he jumped ship to go to All Elite Wrestling at their first-ever PPV event. And ever since that day, legends, up-and-comers, and indie stars have made their way to AEW to try and create a new brand that speaks to all generations of wrestling fans. Tonight, December 2nd, 2020, they got their biggest legend ever to show up on their brand. Because ladies and gentlemen… THIS. IS. STING!!!!!!
That's right. @Sting is #AllElite #AEWDynamite pic.twitter.com/r5LzHYlXau

The rumors of Sting being in AEW had been swirling for a long time, and there were points where fans felt he would arrive. But on a night that stated, “Winter Is Coming”, they brought in The Crow, and as AEW would reveal, he’s signed a multi-year deal with the company.
Sting of course is “The Icon” of WCW, one of their major stars who went from the colorful hero that beat Ric Flair for the World Heavyweight Title, and then when the NWO arrived he became “Crow Sting”, the stalking and intimidating presence that would loom in the rafters, arrive via helicopter in some matches, and always be there when the fans needed him to be. He is an all-time great, a Hall of Famer, and now…he’s All Elite.
You can check out his debut (complete with epic music by Mikey Rukus) in the video below. And come back next week to All Elite Wrestling where Sting will speak for the first time. Trust me, you won’t want to miss it.
