We’re just a little more than a week away from the next-generation launch with Series X|S releasing on November 10 and the PS5 launching just two days after on November 12. To commemorate the release of their new machines, Microsoft will be hosting an ‘Xbox Launch Celebration’ on November 10 from 11 AM – 5 PM PST.
Celebrate the start of a new generation with us!
Join our #XboxLaunchCelebration stream on November 10 from 11am-5pm PST. Virtual fist-bumps and digital high-fives highly encouraged.

Don’t expect any new announcements as Microsoft is marketing this event as ‘a moment of play, not press releases,’ to members of the Xbox ecosystem. The stream will highlight some of the new consoles’ launch titles, with developers providing behind-the-scenes commentary. The Xbox team will also be holding a fundraiser coinciding with the stream for ‘great causes’; which organization or causes they’ll be raising money for is not specified.
With COVID still running rampant, this may be an alternative for people unable to gather up their group of friends as they’ve done with previous console launches.
The Xbox Launch Celebration will be streamed on the official Xbox pages for YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook Gaming.
