Nintendo officially announced today that Super Nintendo World, opening in Universal Japan, will be further delayed into Spring of 2021, with the original opening being this Summer but COVID said otherwise. Though there is an understanding as to why the delay happened, fans will have to wait a bit longer to see a theme park based on some of their favorite Nintendo characters.
To feed that hunger for video game themed fun we have none other than, food. Yes, Nintendo announced the opening of a Mario themed Café & Store opening next Friday. Some of the food you can enjoy are the amazingly tasty looking Mario and Luigi pancake sandwiches that are sure to make you go “WAHOO!”
Nintendo has also shown off fruit cream soda with the same Mario & Luigi motif so you can look like the plumber brothers while you hydrate, with the other hydration option being the purchasable Mushroom drink bottle.
In the shop next to the café, you’ll be able to grab yourself some more Super Mario themed items such as hats, shirts, mugs, etc. if your wallet can handle it. Hopefully this can quench Nintendo fans’ thirst for now until the park opens and just give them a taste of what is to come, no pun intended, I promise.
