While CD Projekt Red recently announced that they’re enforcing a mandatory crunch period to get Cyberpunk 2077 out the door so they made the November 19th, 2020, release date. The company recently released a new trailer for the game called “Seize the Day”, featuring Keanu Reeves.
It’s not a very long trailer, clocking in at 30 seconds and there’s no new content shown either. Instead, this is more of a TV commercial more than anything else. To which I expect to see this airing on most TV networks (If it hasn’t already) soon.
Update: It is a TV spot and it aired during the 2020 NBA finals, which I turned off after the Heat started acting like they didn’t know how to play.
Here's our @CyberpunkGame ad that aired during the @NBA Finals 😍
To me, a basketball fanatic that's been watching NBA for over 20 years, an incredibly proud moment 😎
I'm not crying, you're crying 😢
Here's a direct video from the broadcast! 😎

Check out the trailer below.
As for Cyberpunk 2077, as mentioned the developer, CDPR is currently under fire for promising not to implement crunchtime. Then the company not only implemented this a few days ago, but various reports from workers have stated that many had been working long hours for months on end. A complete contradiction from the company and now the gaming community is divided on if crunchtime is a necessary evil or completely wrong. Here’s my take – if something has to be delayed, then delay it. I am not a fan of the practice, as I’ve experienced this first hand, as well as watched co-workers, suffer from it. Definitely 100% against it.
Cyberpunk 2077, barring any more delays, will be released on November 19th, 2020 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions will be released at a later date.
