Super Mario Bros. 35 is now available to play for Nintendo Switch Online members

By Keith MitchellOctober 1, 2020

Today marks the day that Nintendo’s own Battleroyale-ish title, Super Mario Bros. 35, is available to play. That is if you have Nintendo Switch Online.

While I haven’t played it yet, the idea seems very similar to Tetris 99. You, along with 34 other players will battle it out by traversing through familiar (and unfamiliar) Mario levels. Defeating enemies in your course sends them over to various other players, making their time a bit harder. But watch out because the same can happen to you. Again, this is very much like Tetris 99… just with 35 players instead.

The last one standing wins. Well, the game but I can’t speak for the friendships that might get broken with this game.

Worried about your platforming skills not being up to par after not playing Super Mario Bros. for 10+ years? Well, Nintendo’s got that covered by offering practice course runs as well. Think of it as a training session.

Lastly, keep in mind that Super Mario 35 is a limited time thing and once March 31st, 2021 gets here, the game will go away. So get online and get Mario’N!
