Earlier this month, Xbox and EA announced they were teaming up and that EA Play (formerly EA & Origin Access) would be headed to Xbox Game Pass. Today, they’ve announced when we’ll see the service arriving on Xbox Game Pass.
Starting on November 10, 2020, EA Play will be available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Bringing with it, access to EA’s library of games, including early access to upcoming titles. This also happens to be the same day as the launch of the Xbox Series X and S.
While we didn’t get a date for when EA Play would arrive on Xbox Game Pass for PC, we did get a launch window of December 2020. Sure, a launch date would have been better, but at least we know it will available before the end of the year.

According to EA, current EA Play members will have their accounts automatically canceled if they subscribe to both Xbox Game Pass and EA Play, and will have any remaining membership time converted to over to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. More information on how this will work will be provided shortly.
With the addition of EA Play heading to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, it just makes this an even bigger value for gamers. For $14.99, you’re getting access to a vast library of Xbox Games, Project xCloud streaming service, and soon, EA Play. Now that sounds like a win to me.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate isn’t the only place that you can find EA Play, as the service also paired up with Steam this past August 2020.
