Hiro Mashima’s Edens Zero received a television anime adaptation but until now, we weren’t really sure who would be producing the show. Many assumed that it would have been A-1 Pictures due to their production of Fairy Tail; however, that is not the case.
Edens Zero is set to be produced by J.C. Staff.
MyAnimeList.net describes Edens Zero as follows:
A young boy gazes up at the sky and sees a streaming bolt of light. The friendly, armor-clad being at his side tells him gently, “That’s a dragon.” The fact that he’s joking isn’t important. What’s important is the look of wonder on the boy’s face… and the galaxy-spanning adventure that’s about to take place!
The anime is set to premiere in April 2021 during the Spring season. Currently, Kodansha Comics is licensing the manga for North American distribution.
